CLAIRE DE BELLOY
Claire is an actress based in London, as well as a singer songwriter. After touring in France and the USA with the Fredonia company as a young actress and singer, she trained in classical singing at the Conservatoire Debussy in Paris, while studying both in La Sorbonne and at the ECM of Paris (MusicalTheatre School). She then studied at the Guildford School of Acting and graduated in 2014.
Her film credits include: The Time Of Their Lives (dir. Rodger Goldby), Rent (UK, Joanne, 2014) and Sort: Un Bisoux (dir. Augustin de Belloy) as well as several French commercials. Her theatre credits include: Grease (UK, ensemble, 2014), Little Women (UK, ensemble, 2014), Twang (UK, ensemble, 2013), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (UK, Helena, 2013), Pippin (UK, A Player, 2013), Spelling Bee (UK, Olive, 2013) and The Two Gentlemen of Verona (UK, Julia, 2013), Orestea (UK, Clytemnestra, 2012), Robert and Elizabeth (UK, Daughter, 2012), Sister Act (France, Dolores, 2010), and Hairspray (France, Mortormouth Maybelle, 2010).
As a singer songwriter, Claire has been developing her own compositions in pop, soul, rock and world music. She first recorded an EP titled See Me Clear, which launched in October 2016 at the St Pancras Old Church, London, was produced by Dan Bell and played many times in London as well as touring in France. She continually developed the character of Queen Clairie and has just finalised her first album titled Happiness is a Choice, again produced by Dan Bell, with the release of her first single Track Back The Rail on 6th February 2017.
Claire is also a composer for commercials and private companies and a vocal coach at the Upbeat Music School.
