Originally from Scotland, Drew has lived in London for almost thirty years moving to Waterloo about five years ago. Living close to the Young Vic was the impetus for his involvement in theatre when he joined the Young Vic Choir to sing in ‘The Sound of Yellow’ and ‘The Events’.Over the last two years he has performed in ‘Light Shining in Buckinghamshire’ and ‘A Declaration from the People’ at the National Theatre, followed by ‘The Trial’ at the Young Vic and ‘Rise’ with the Old Vic Community Company. Most recently he appeared with the Royal Shakespeare Company as one of Lear’s Knights in King Lear at The Barbican. He will be appearing in ‘Bloody Mary: in Service to the True God’ at the Vault Festival in February 2017.
Drew is a member of the Young Vic Neighbourhood Theatre Company as well as the new Tricycle Community Company which is working towards performing a specially commissioned work in Easter 2017. He joins the RADA Elders Company in January 2017.
