Jordan Sim

Jordan will be in the Christmas pantomime tour of Alice in Wonderland with Northeast Producers in November till late December. 

Jordan is a singer and actor originally from the Lake District and living in Manchester.
He studied music through various different musical instruments including piano as well as singing from the age of 4. Training in both contemporary and classical singing, Jordan achieved distinction Grade 8. Jordan graduated from The University of Salford with a First Class Honours Degree in Media & Performance with a focus on contemporary theatre and media performance styles.

As well as being vocal captain for multiple productions with the university theatre society Jordan played roles in various different productions there such as Bernardo in West Side Story, Professor Moriarty in Sherlock, Melchior Gabor in Spring Awakening and the Grand High Witch in Roald Day's 'The Witches'. On top of his degree, Jordan also directed shows with the theatre shows, including Variety Shows and Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. While studying towards the final year of his degree Jordan also ran the theatre society as the Chairperson.

Jordan has taken advantage of the various different opportunities available in the Manchester area and taking part in theatre workshops and performing at The Lowry Theatre, Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre, 53 Theatre and Kings Arms Theatre.
Amongst these projects, Jordan collaborated with theatre companies such as Frantic Assembly and Ridiculusmus Theatre Company giving him the opportunity to have a hand in influencing their creations as well as exploring contemporary styles of theatre.

In his spare time, Jordan enjoys singing and song writing. After growing up with a heavily music orientated childhood, he likes to incorporate his skills with musical instruments into the creation and writing of his songs. He hopes to produce these for release shortly. As well as song writing he also enjoys writing scripts for both film and theatre with the potential of producing these in the future also.
