Luke is a British actor, singer and composer who originally trained in Musical Theatre at The Midlands Academy of Dance & Drama and more recently at Arts Ed (BA Hons).
Upon graduating from MADD in 2013 Luke featured in the original cast of the new musical Love Beyond at the Brighton Centre and then was recast when the show transferred to the Wembley Arena starring Dave Willetts in 2014.
Since this time Luke has appeared in various productions amongst which he has particularly enjoyed originating the part of “Anton” in the original US cast of the new musical Mystery, originating the lead male role “Joel” in the new play Seeing Grace (Old Fire Station, Oxford) and originating the lead male role of “Martin” in the new musical The Local (Edinburgh Fringe).
As a Musical Theatre composer Luke's debut musical Out of Place was staged at the York New Musicals Festival in Spring 2015 and the following year in the summer of 2016 a workshop production of his second musical Deborah was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival featuring the West End leading ladies Katy Treharne (Christine in Phantom of the Opera) and Irene-Alano Rhodes (The Voice 2016 & Gigi Miss Saigon) amongst an international cast. Other compositional credits include A Midsummer Night's Dream (MADD studio theatre, Nottingham) and also a workshop of his material with the performing arts students at Scarborough College. He also has had his music played on both regional and online radio stations including JemmThree.
Luke is currently composing two very exciting new musicals: Vashti with the talented upcoming writer Francesca Mepham and The Inklings with the national award-winning American playwright Mahonri Stewart.
When Luke is not engaged in theatre productions and composing he enjoys performing with Improv Comedy troupes, comedy being something he has a great passion for.
Currently appearing as “Martin” in the new musical The Local at the Edinburgh Fringe.
